Authentic and open communication is important not only during uncertain times such as COVID-19, but also to build and nurture rewarding business relationships. These insights informed the success of Constantia’s recent “Hard Talk with Peter Todd” Webinar, that took place on the 16th July 2020.

In a refreshing and novel approach, Constantia invited their UMA and Broker partners to send through any business-related questions that they would like answered by Peter Todd, who has been at the helm of Constantia since February 2020.

Our CEO Lizelle van Der Merwe was invited to take up the mantle of “interviewer” and to also ask any additional questions that she believed would be informative and beneficial to the audience.

The session covered a wide variety of topics ranging from what inspired Peter to take up the position of Constantia CEO, the impact of COVID-19 on the insurance industry and Constantia’s plans, including an update on the Trustco transaction.

Commenting on the session, Lizelle had the following to say, “I thoroughly enjoyed being part of this session which brings to life meaningful and engaging collaboration between bodies such as the FIA, insurer and the intermediary.
