This communication is relevant to all FSPs with financial year end 28 February 2018

This serves as a reminder that your annual financial statements must be submitted to the FSCA by 30 June 2018.
IMPORTANT:
Where no audit of your financial statements needs to be undertaken, all FSPs must submit Annexure A of FAIS Notice 82 of 2015 with their financial statements.
Annexure A is basically an application for exemption from audited statements and confirms that your FSP complies with the criteria for non-audited financial statements. Annexure A must be submitted each year with non-audited financial statements. Failure to submit Annexure A will result in your statements not being processed.
Note: Category 1 FSPs that collect premiums must also submit Annexure Six (Form A) with their financial statements – see attachment (SKonica). This is a requirement in terms of section 48(3) and (5) of the new Fit and Proper Requirements – Board Notice 194/2017.

Note: The Financial Sector Conduct Authority has indicated that they are currently experiencing challenges with their e-Portal as it is being upgraded. Members are advised to forward annual financial statements that are due to either Faisfins1@fsca.co.za or Faisfins2@fsca.co.za till further notice.
