The FIA Platinum Branch held their Year End Function on Thursday, the 25th of October 2018. Members and their significant others, were invited to join the Branch at the Rockwood Theatre, in Pretoria. A big thanks to Dynamic Thinking UMA for partnering with FIA Platinum to make it a great event.
Not only did the branch come together and enjoy a fun filled evening, we also gave thought to the less fortunate. All guests who attended were asked to bring canned foods as their entrance. These would then be donated to an informal settlement in the Pretoria Kameeldrift area.
Recap of the year:
- In June, our branch donated blankets and clothes to informal settlements in the area.
- Member participation has increased substantially since CPD events have been hosted.
- Highlight Membership meetings also included a visit to The South African Insurance Crime Bureau – we are grateful for their expertise and ground breaking work in the war against crime and corruption in the Insurance Industry.
- The FIA Awards in June was a very classy affair and we were proud to be part of this prestigious function in the Insurance Industry.
- The FIA Summit was a great success and definitely an annual must attend event.
Thank you to a great management team who have gone out of their way to ensure that all events were perfect for our members. A large amount of time and effort is always given and much appreciated.
We look forward to a great 2019 with FIA Platinum branch.
