The FIA Peninsula Branch trotted out in true style at their annual golf day hosted at King David Mowbray Golf Club in Pinelands in November. A spectacular day in Cape Town greeted the players. The winning team was Elite Risk Acceptances, some of whom had flown in especially from Johannesburg for the event. Congratulations to you all.
The various hole sponsors outdid themselves in a bid to provide entertainment and refreshments along the course and Tracker won the prize for best hole sponsorship on the day. The CPD Hub sponsored an additional challenge to the players to add some excitement to the day – all about not losing the CPD ball.
The main aim of the day, as always, is to allow the branch and its members an opportunity to give back to our communities and the charities who benefited from the day joined us for the prizegiving. We were treated to a wonderful poem from one of the children at the Carel du Toit Centre where children with hearing impairment learn spoken language. Our other beneficiaries are Ruyterwacht School, Animal Rescue Organization & St Joseph’s Home.
