The Fulcrum Group would like to announce with effect 1 May 2021, the appointment of Jade Jensen as Managing Director Designate of Fulcrum Collect, the premium collections business of the Fulcrum Group of companies. Jensen, who has been Fulcrum Collect’s General Manager of Operations for four years, will take over the role of MD from Barry Scott when he retires at the end of 2021.
“Following an exemplary career spanning thirty years in the insurance industry, with six and a half years at Fulcrum, culminating as MD of Fulcrum’s collections business, Barry will be retiring at the end of the year. He will be sorely missed but fortunately he will leave us with a wonderful legacy in Fulcrum CollectDirect™ and the vision behind Fulcrum AirCollect™,” said Dean Burscough, Fulcrum Group Chairman. “We are very fortunate to have someone of Jade’s quality and experience to take over the running of the business from Barry. Jade, alongside Barry, has developed Fulcrum’s collections business to the success it is today. She is the natural fit to take the business to the next stage. Congratulations Jade”.
“As GM Operations Jade has been my de facto second in command since she joined Fulcrum Collections in 2017,” said outgoing MD Barry Scott. “She embodies the spirit of Fulcrum and I have the utmost confidence in her as my successor. I know I will be leaving the business, our clients and the Fulcrum team in exceedingly capable hands.”
On her appointment, Jensen said, “Fulcrum Collections is reshaping the premium collections space in South Africa and I’m thrilled to lead the company into its next phase of growth.” Previously, Jensen was Managing Director of Bang & Olufsen South Africa where she relaunched the B&O brand in the local market and established a national dealer network. Based in Johannesburg, Jensen is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, CA (SA) and she completed her articles at KPMG.
