The FIA are pleased to welcome Brad Frank to the FIA, as Technical Compliance Manager. Brad is an admitted attorney, with over 13 years of experience working in the South African financial services sector, with a large focus on the long-term/life insurance industry.
His previous role as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (ASISA) included; regular engagement with the Department of Employment & Labour, being responsible for overall fraud detection and awareness, intermediary and SETA engagement as well as engagement around transformation matters (FSTC, Nedlac, BUSA, etc.) which also included collaboration with trade organisations and stakeholders within the sector.
Brad also knows his way around a dancefloor, he is a National SA Universities Ballroom, Latin, American, Salsa and sokkie Champion. When asked what he looks forward to most at the FIA, he had the following to say: “I am excited to learn more about the industry from the perspective of the intermediary. Getting involved in financial services sector outside of the product supplier space is something that I am really looking forward to”.
