Introducing your FIA Board of Directors

Following the election of new leaders at the Regional Council meetings, the eight (8) Executive Committees, and the election of the 6 (six) independently elected directors, we are delighted to announce the newly elected FIA Board of Directors.

The newly elected FIA Board met on 24 August 2023 to elect a new President and Vice-President for the association.

At that meeting, Butsi Tladi was re-elected as President and Ronald King has been elected as Vice President. Our heartfelt congratulations to Butsi and Ronald, both of whom have served the FIA in various capacities over many years.

The FIA secretariat would like to congratulate the elected Board members and wish them the best during their respective terms.  A special word of thanks to all elected officials who give freely of their time to serve the association and its members in addition to meeting their professional responsibilities. We also wish to thank all the nominees who accepted nominations and were willing to stand to serve as a director.

Please note that all director appointments are made in compliance with the Rules of the association.

Six (6) Directors are elected by FIA members to serve for a period of two years. The nomination and election process was held during July and August 2023:
