Biography

Butši Tladi is the immediate Past President of the FIA and the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII).
She played an instrumental role in submissions made to government on several issues, including National Health Insurance (NHI), and also led the broker submission to the Competition Commission on the Market Inquiry into private health. Butši has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 20 of those years spent in senior management. She began her career at Alexforbes and held various leadership roles, including a successful stint as Executive: Consulting, where she was responsible for all customers and consultants across health, retirement, and investment divisions. She also serves on the boards of Alexforbes Botswana and Alexforbes Namibia. Butši holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce degree, both from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
