Biography

With a unique and practical background that blends industrial management with financial expertise, Dryden offers unique insights into the commercial risks his clients face. His early career as a factory manager, supported by a National Certificate in Plastics Technology, provides him with a grounded understanding of operational challenges. This experience is complemented by a Higher Certificate in Insurance and a B.Tech in Business Administration, forming a robust foundation for his advisory role. Dryden entered the financial services industry in 2002, initially heading the short-term insurance division of an independent brokerage. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, he founded his own successful short-term insurance brokerage in 2005, with a specialized focus on commercial risk. In 2015, his company merged with Origin Financial, where he currently serves as a Director and Executive Advisor. Outside of his professional life, Dryden is a self-proclaimed foodie, a budding chef, and a sports enthusiast with a particular passion for Padel.
