The Jacaranda Branch held a member meeting on the 23rd of November, at the stunning Waterkloof Golf Club in Pretoria.

Branch Chair & Regional Director, Henry Schnetler, discussed the Jacaranda what they had achieved during the year and reminded members of their successes. He also gave an insight of what 2019 has in store for members.

Members were then given a presentation on Cyber-insurance by Santo Mohapeloa of SHA, earning members 1.5 CPD hours.

Bernard Lubbe, Regional Manager of the FIA, gave strategic feedback to members, and emphasized the need for input from members regarding Broker Fees.

Joe Kotze presented on Business Continuation and Succession Planning, earning members an additional 1 Hour of CPD.

A few hours later the members gathered to celebrate the year at their year-end function.

The Branch invited members, sponsors and stakeholders to enjoy an eventful evening at the stunning De Kroon Kamer at the Voortrekker Monument, in Pretoria.

Upon arrival members received a welcome drink and were treated to a beautiful sunset overlooking Pretoria.

Henry Schnetler, welcomed all, thanked the sponsors for their great contribution, and kicked off the party with good music.

Guests enjoyed a drink overlooking beautiful Pretoria and everyone found themselves on the balcony appreciating the view.

The dance floor was opened after a delicious spit braai with a range of sides to choose from and dessert. Guests were dancing and enjoyed themselves way into the night.

If you haven’t seen Pretoria from that view, I truly recommend having a look, or better yet, join the Jacaranda Branch when they have another function there. It really is worth it.
